About Steelbridge Ministries

Steelbridge Ministries is a Christ-centered, 12-month residential program dedicated to restoring

lives broken by homelessness, addiction, abuse, and trauma. Our Women’s Program provides a

safe, healing environment where women experience transformation through structured care, life-

skills development, and the love of Christ.

Position Summary

The Women’s Program Director oversees all aspects of the Women’s Residential Program at

Steelbridge Ministries. This role is responsible for the strategic and day-to-day management of

the program, ensuring it effectively meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, and social needs of

the women we serve. The ideal candidate is a strong, compassionate leader with a heart for

ministry, trauma-informed care, and Christ-centered recovery.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Staff Oversight

  • Supervise, mentor, and support program staff, case managers, and volunteers.

  • Develop and maintain a trauma-informed, Christ-centered culture of safety and

    accountability.

  • Lead team meetings, staff training, and ongoing spiritual development.

  • Program Management

  • Implement curriculum and services that advance recovery, discipleship, life skills,

    education, and workforce readiness.

  • Direct intake, assessment, individualized case planning, and progress tracking.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with all policies, procedures,

    and reporting standards.

Resident Care & Advocacy

  • Provide direct care, guidance, and crisis intervention when needed.

  • Foster a safe environment for healing from trauma, addiction, domestic violence, and

    other life-controlling issues.

  • Promote accountability, goal-setting, and personal development for each resident.

Collaboration

  • Coordinate closely with other Steelbridge departments to streamline services, events, and

    shared resources.

Spiritual Leadership

  • Model Christ-like behavior and maintain a growing relationship with Jesus.

  • Encourage residents through prayer, discipleship, and Biblical teaching.

Qualifications

  • Faith & Alignment: Demonstrated personal relationship with Jesus Christ and

    agreement with Steelbridge’s mission.

  • Education & Experience: Background in Social Work, Counseling, Ministry,

  • Psychology, or related field; 3–5 years of leadership in ministry, addiction recovery, or

    trauma-informed programs.

  • Specialized Knowledge: Strong understanding of women’s issues (homelessness, abuse,

    addiction, mental health).

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead diverse teams, resolve conflict, and manage

    crisis with wisdom and grace.

  • Administrative Strength: Excellent communication, organization, and record-keeping

    abilities.

  • Certifications: CPR, First Aid, and trauma-informed-care training (or willingness to

    obtain within 60 days).

  • Language: Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Working Conditions

Primarily on-site at the Women’s Campus.

  • Must be available for occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call duties.

  • Physically able to participate in campus activities and respond to emergencies.
